This week, the iBeChange team hosted its first user focus group at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO)—a key milestone in our commitment to user-centred development.
The session brought together a diverse group of participants who generously shared their personal experiences, preferences, and insights to help shape the iBeChange app. Their feedback touched on everything from preferred features and tone of content, to what really helps people stay motivated when trying to make healthy lifestyle changes.
“Real insights from real users lead to better design and, ultimately, better outcomes,” said a member of the development team. “This kind of collaboration is at the heart of what iBeChange stands for.”
The session marks the beginning of a wider co-creation process, where users are not just consulted but become active partners in building a digital tool that truly meets their needs. By listening deeply and adapting iteratively, the project aims to create an app that doesn’t just deliver information—but actually empowers people to take control of their health in a way that feels personal, practical, and sustainable.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the participants at ICO for their openness, ideas, and enthusiasm. Your contributions are already helping shape an app that works with people, not just for them.
Stay tuned for more updates as the co-creation process continues.
